I came up with the name for my blog while I was…well…pondering stuff while wandering in the woods. This is usually where I do my best thinking and find inspiration for ideas for drawing and painting, so besides being catchy and a bit poetic, it describes my process perfectly.
On this day, the first snow of the season has fallen - so fresh and new, turning the landscape into a blank canvas. I am thinking about the year ahead, what I want to create, and how to best get my art out into the world to be seen. It, presumably like this post ;-) has but a small audience so far…but it’s a start!
