Free in the Wind - Barn Owl - Mini Original Painting

There’s a botanical garden that I like to visit which also has an animal sanctuary for injured critters, including owls. Fortunately for me, I arrived just at feeding time and got to watch the owls in action. One of the barn owls had an obvious wing injury and couldn’t fly far.  Even so, it was so beautiful, with its intriguing and mysterious little face. I created this piece as I imagined the little guy feeling free when the wind blows through its feathers, lifting it up and helping it fly among the stars. 🦉 ✨
